In a heartwarming demonstration of compassion and social responsibility, Paul Ogoun’s Foundation, led by its Chief Executive Officer, Ambassador High Chief (Capt.) Paul Mandela Ogoun, has brought joy to residents of the Igbogene Home of the Elderly in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, as part of its 2025 yuletide humanitarian outreach.
The visit, which took place on Saturday, December 27, 2025, saw Ambassador Ogoun and members of his foundation spending quality time with the elderly, sharing gifts, offering words of encouragement, and spreading love. The initiative formed part of the foundation’s ongoing commitment to supporting vulnerable members of society, particularly elderly.
Speaking during the visit, Ambassador Ogoun emphasized the importance of remembering and honoring the elderly, noting that they remain a vital part of society whose contributions should never be forgotten.
He reiterated the foundation’s belief that kindness, compassion, and collective responsibility are essential in building a more caring and inclusive society.
Paul Ogoun’s Foundation has continued to make a meaningful impact across Bayelsa State and beyond through various humanitarian interventions. These include free skills acquisition programmes, empowerment initiatives, outreach to orphanage homes, and sustained support for elderly care facilities, all aimed at improving livelihoods and restoring hope among disadvantaged groups.
The visit concluded with the team retiring to the residence of Ambassador Ogoun for light refreshments, marking the end of what participants described as a memorable and inspiring outreach.
The event once again reinforced the foundation’s guiding principle:
“A little kindness goes a long way.”
